Two wonderful weeks

Dear Jan, We are back home after spending two wonderful weeks in your apartment. We had a great time in Florence. Thank you for all the useful information you provided to make our holiday so memorable. We did so much in those two weeks. We went to the markets at Scandicci and met an Irish girl who owned the bottle shop. Had an interesting cooking class with Francesca that started at 9 am at the markets and finished at 5 pm.....very full and satisfied with the delicious meal we cooked and shared with her. Lots of eating in wonderful restaurants and our daily coffee and breakfast/lunch at ChiaroScuro in the Corso. All in all a wonderful trip. Thank you for providing our accommodation it was just what we wanted. Hope to stay there again if ever we return to Florence.

Hi Janine. Well, we are back one week today and I am still day-dreaming about our wonderful visit to your apartment and Florence. My husband and I did have such a wonderful time and I have shared positive reports about staying at your apartment as respects the convenience to the City, the Museums, the Train Station, etc., with so many friends and people I know. I have been asked many times about "where will I travel to next" and my answer has been the same, I can't think of another place that could top this visit to Florence. I did fill out a page (front and back) in the visitor journal that you keep in the apartment, so hopefully a future traveler can enjoy what we did. My husband and I both purchased leather jackets (probably not surprising to you) and they were packed, shipped and received very quickly. I also purchased 6 handbags for friends and they too arrived with no problem. This was a good way to forward items that really we couldn't pack because we ran out of room in our cases. Don't be surprised if you see a request for a future stay, from me. I just loved Florence so much. With thanks and best wishes, Denise

Hi Jan, Just a note to say we so enjoyed our week in your apartment in Florence. Glorious weather 21c on 3 days. Ate at all or favourite places and included il Pennello and Ristorante Paoli. Viewed art and just wandered around (just being in Florence) So perfectly situated for all our needs we vote you our favourite place to stay when in Florence if there are only 2 of us. ( we like space) We lived in Tuscany and Umbria for 3 months in 2012 so went out to visit some of our favourite lunch spots. It was great to see some of the folk we met then, but Italy is grey and closed till the buds burst. So many tiny towns having their winter rest. One of my highlights was reading the visitors book in the appt. It gave me so many laughs from the enthusiastic tourists. Thankyou again, just wanted to tell you our short stay was a great success and we hope to be back. Phyllis

Florence Christmas time

Dear Jan We are happily in your apartment convivio, and just come back from a delicious and leisurely Sunday lunch at Il Pennello. Going to an opera Carmen tonight at St Marks across Ponte Santa Trinita. We feel very comfortable here and having a leisurely day after our long day of travel yesterday...although it all went very smoothly. A little rainy this morning, but not too cold. We do like your apartment, beautiful and like stepping into your home! Happy new year. Kind regards Lindy
